About

Hi, I’m James 👋I didn’t grow up dreaming of cleaning bins, nobody does. But I’ve always been motivated to build something of my own and create services that make everyday life easier.
The Wheelie Bin Club is my way of doing just that; taking one of those messy, annoying jobs and turning it into something you never have to think about again.
What makes the Club different is how simple it is. Once you join, your bins are taken care of on a regular cycle; fresh, clean, and deodorised every 4 weeks without you lifting a finger. No last-minute scrubbing, no smells creeping up the drive, no fuss. It’s all sorted.
I run the business myself, which means when you join you’re dealing directly with me, not a call centre or a faceless company. I’m the one turning up, I’m the one doing the work, and I take pride in leaving every bin properly cleaned and smelling fresh. Reliability matters to me: if I say I’ll be there, I’ll be there.
The Wheelie Bin Club is more than just a cleaning service, it’s about peace of mind. For households, landlords, and businesses, it’s one less chore on the list and one more thing you can cross off for good.
So whether you’ve got one wheelie bin or a whole line-up, welcome to the Club.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need my bin cleaned?
Wheelie bins are breeding grounds for harmful bacteria like E. coli, Salmonella, and Listeria — the same bugs that cause food poisoning. Add in maggots, flies, and rats, and your bins can become a real health risk, especially in warm weather. Regular professional cleaning keeps your bins hygienic, safe, and smelling fresh.
Can’t I just hose it out myself?
You could, but a quick rinse doesn’t kill bacteria. Splashing dirty bin water around your drive or garden can actually spread germs where kids and pets play. I use specialist cleaning equipment and disinfectants that properly sanitise your bins and leave them deodorised.
Do the bins smell nice afterwards?
Yes, I deodorise every bin so they come back fresh, not chemical-y. Most customers say it’s the first time their bins have ever smelled good.
How often do you clean?
Every 4 weeks. Once you’re in the Club, it runs like clockwork — you don’t need to remember.
Do I need to be home?
No, just put your bins out as usual. I’ll take care of the rest.
What happens if the council misses my collection?
If the bin hasn’t been emptied, I can’t clean it. But don’t worry, It automatically rolls over to the next cycle.
What bins are included?
Fresh – £5: General waste bin.
Freshest – £12 (most popular): All your bins (general + recycling).
Lots of bins? The Lots of Bins Club gives you a bespoke quote.
What about green/garden bins?
They can be cleaned on request for £10.
What if I’ve got loads of bins?
That’s exactly what the Multi-Bin Club is for. Fill out the form, and I’ll work out a fair bespoke quote within 24 hours.
Do you cover businesses and landlords?
Yes. I provide tailored quotes for blocks of flats, pubs, offices, and any site with multiple wheelie bins.
How do I pay?
We set up secure monthly payments. No cash, no hassle.
Can I pause or cancel my membership?
Yes, anytime. Just fill in the member form and I’ll confirm within 24 hours.
What areas do you cover?
Lancaster and Morecambe (Including surrounding areas).
How long does a clean take?
Usually just a few minutes per bin. I use high-pressure equipment and disinfectant, so it’s quick, thorough, and tidy.
Where does the dirty water go?
I collect and dispose of all dirty water safely and legally. It never ends up on your drive, garden, or down a roadside drain.
Is this environmentally friendly?
Yes. I use controlled amounts of water, biodegradable disinfectants, and proper disposal methods, so the process is safe for the environment.
Do you bring your own water?
Yes — I arrive fully equipped. You don’t need to provide anything.
What if my bin is really bad?
Don’t worry, I’ve seen (and cleaned) it all. The first clean might take a little longer, but after that regular cleaning keeps it under control.
Do you clean in winter?
Yes. Bacteria and smells don’t take the season off, and regular cleaning prevents build-up all year round.
What if I move house?
Just let me know via the member form. We can transfer your membership to your new address if it’s within my coverage area.
